Dumper lorries – help us to act now

If you are concerned about the high volume of dumper trucks coming through Tickenham Village on a daily basis there is an opportunity to make your views known by responding to an application that has been raised with North Somerset Council for a possible Environmental Impact Assessment.
We consider it is essential to support the need for an Environmental Impact Assessment and then add comment(s) on the unacceptable traffic misery being suffered by the residents of Tickenham as a direct result of the quarry works.
The Planning application can be found at this address:
21/P/2520/EA1 | Request for a Screening Opinion to determine the need for an Environmental Impact Assessment to revise the quarryworking and restoration scheme and extend the end date for quarrying by one year. THIS IS NOT A PLANNING APPLICATION | Durnford Quarry Clevedon Road Failand Long Ashton (n-somerset.gov.uk)
When you access the Application you will be able to see comments that have been made by other residents. Please add your comments to let NSC know the impact to our village of this traffic and choose Support to indicate that a full EIA is undertaken. The closing date is September 21st, so please don’t delay.
